3-D Gerberas & Daisies   $20  US

This is one of the most versatile sets of designs I have ever digitized and I can guarantee that everyone will have a lot of fun with these 3-D flowers. You will need Organza in different colours, as the flowers must be embroidered on a double layer of Organza, without any stabilizer at all. Several leaves have been placed in one design file, so you can embroider a number of leaves at once. There are 3 files for leaves in different sizes.

Step-by step instructions are included with the design files and as an extra bonus, I have also added 12 gerbera and daisy designs which can be stitched as normal embroidery designs on any fabric of your choice. PLEASE do NOT embroider the 3-D designs on fabric or as one whole design.

Please look at the sizes below each design, as I photographed the stitchouts and didn't scan them with a 4x4 inch frame around each design.

Projects to give you ideas

These designs are ideal for decorating gift boxes and almost every thing you can think of. By looking at all the projects below, you will get even more ideas. You can even use them in a flower arrangement with fresh flowers and leaves and not only embroidered flowers as I have done.

To add stems to these flowers, cut the cork of a wine bottle in three parts and glue it to the back of the flowers. I have wonderful greenery in my garden with very strong stems and this is what I used on the large flowers where I needed longer stems than the wooden skewers.  See photo above, right. You can also use wooden BBQ skewers and cover them with green florist tape.

The picture on the left shows how I started my little arrangement in the basket with leaves and ribbons to cover the oasis.
